What is Diverse Powered Brands™?
Diverse Powered Brands is an industry-first incubator and accelerator dedicated to empowering diverse-owned and diverse-led brands in the beverage alcohol space.

What qualifies as a Diverse-Owned Company?
To qualify as a Diverse-Owned company, company must be 51% or more owned and controlled by one or more diverse persons. “Diverse” is classified as BIPOC, Disabled, LGBTQIA+, Veteran, and Women.
What qualifies as a Diverse-Led Brand?
To qualify as a Diverse-Led brand, at least 51% of C-Suite and Senior Executive positions are held by diverse person(s). Diverse Powered Brands classifies these roles as titles beginning with “Chief” and titles that include, General Manager, Board Member, Managing Director, President and/or Vice President. “Diverse” is classified as BIPOC, Disabled, LGBTQIA+, Veteran, and Women.
What qualifies as a Diverse-Made Brand?
To qualify as a Diverse-Made brand, the maker of the brand must be a diverse person in a senior leadership role overseeing the day-to-day production of the brand, such as head distiller, master distiller, master blender, master taster, head winemaker, lead brewer, master brewer, and/or lead viticulturist/grower. “Diverse” is classified as BIPOC, Disabled, LGBTQIA+, Veteran, and Women.
Is Diverse Powered Brands™ open to Suppliers outside the U.S.?
YES! Diverse Powered Brands™ is open to suppliers across the globe. You do not have to be based in the U.S. to sign up.
I am a Diverse Supplier, how much is the annual subscription fee?
Annual subscription plan pricing is based on the number of brands you sign up. $500 for the first brand and $250 for each additional brand/per year.
If I have multiple SKUs under one Brand, how do I sign up?
If you have multiple SKUs under one brand name you can sign up under your one brand name. In your brand page details, you can provide more information about your various SKUs and products under your brand. Diverse Powered Brands focuses on supporting the brand’s growth and our Brand Directory reflects highlighting the brand in general and not down to the SKU level.
Can I use the Diverse Powered Brands logo and badges on my website/product/pos/etc.?
No. Diverse Powered Brands™ owns the trademark to, and all rights, title, and interests in Diverse Powered Brands™ including logos and badges. Trademarked logos and badges are not to be used without licensing and consent.
What is Self-Declaration of Diversity Qualifications?
Suppliers who sign up and enter their brands into Diverse Powered Brands, must agree/acknowledge our Self-Declaration form, as it appears below:
Self-Declaration of Diversity Qualifications
By clicking the box and signing, you hereby acknowledge, agree and declare that you represent an alcohol beverage supplier or brand (“Company”) that (i) has diverse owners (a diverse person(s) must be the majority owner(s) (at least 51% ownership) and must have management and control of the company); (ii) is diverse-led (at least 51% of C-Suite and Senior Executive positions are held by diverse person(s). Diverse Powered Brands classifies these roles as titles beginning with “Chief” and titles that include, General Manager, Board Member, Managing Director, President and/or Vice President.); or (iii) is diverse-made (maker of the brand must be a diverse person in a senior leadership role overseeing the day-to-day production of the brand, such as head distiller, master distiller, master blender, master taster, head winemaker, lead brewer, master brewer, and/or lead viticulturist/grower). For the purpose of this declaration, “diverse” includes BIPOC, Disabled, LGBTQIA+, Veteran, and Women.
You further acknowledge and agree, on behalf of your Company, that:
i. To the best of Company’s understanding after reasonable inquiry, the statements and information presented by Company on this Website (collectively, “Company Information”) are true, accurate and complete. The Company has all the rights necessary to grant Diverse Powered Brands (“DPB”) the use of Company Information on the Website and that use of Company Information by DPB does not violate any law;
ii. For any natural person referred to, or otherwise depicted by Company on the Website, Company maintains and grants all the necessary rights and permission for DPB to use such person’s name, likeness, image, voice, biographical information, statements, performance and/or testimonial(s) on the Website;
iii. Company shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless DPB and its officers, representatives, agents, employees, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims arising directly or indirectly from the inclusion of Company Information on the Website;
iv. DPB reserves the right to remove Company Information from the Website if Company fails to declare Company Information is true, accurate and complete on an annual basis or as required by DPB;
v. Company agrees to re-declare Information is correct and accurate on an annual basis; and
vi. If Company Ownership, Brand Leadership and/or Brand Maker changes anytime within the year prior to annual renewal, Company must login and update this information within 30 days and sign and resubmit Self-Declaration form for approval.

What qualifies as BIPOC?
BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) refers to a person who identifies as non-white, i.e: Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Alaskan Native/Indigenous.
What qualifies as Disability?
A person with a disability. Disability is defined as a physical and/or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities of such individual, and can be demonstrated by appropriate documentation (e.g., records, statements, or other appropriate information) issued from a licensed vocational rehabilitation specialist; any government agency that issues or provides disability benefits; or from a licensed medical professional that the individual is a person with a disability.
What qualifies as LGBTQIA+?
A person who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, and more.
What qualifies as Veteran?
A person who served on active duty with the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, or Armed Forces of their respective country, and who was honorably discharged or released.
